We're writing to let you know that we will be renewing the SSL certificate for the *.sites.silverstripe.com domain.
The current SSL certificate is due to expire on 7 August 2026. To ensure uninterrupted service, we will deploy the renewed certificate during the scheduled maintenance window below, well in advance of the expiry date.
Scheduled maintenance
Tuesday, 7 July 2026, 8:00am – 10:00am NZST
The certificate update will be completed during this maintenance window. There is no expected impact to production sites while the work is carried out.
Action required
Once the certificate update has been completed, please perform a full re-deployment on your environments to ensure the new SSL certificate for domains ending with .sites.silverstripe.com is applied. We recommend scheduling a full deployment before 6 August 2026 to avoid any SSL errors.
Important notice for self-managed platforms
If you operate a self-managed platform or have services that reference the *.sites.silverstripe.com certificate (such as a self-managed CDN or Bring Your Own WAF), you will also need to update those certificate references after the new certificate has been deployed.
We recommend coordinating with your platform administrator or development team to complete this update as soon as practical following the certificate renewal.
